The Hawaii Water Exercise Professional Network has been formed specifically to bring together all the water exercise instructors in Hawaii; provide ongoing education; provide national Certification; and simply to validate our classes as the wave of the future! Please tell other instructors.

The AEA Aquatic Fitness Professional Certification is usually offered once a year on Oahu. Dates and details are posted further down this page. For full details about Certification requirements go to www.aeawave.com

Workshops in specific aquatic exercise education are offered on Oahu and occasionally on other islands. All workshops provide AEA Continuing Education Credits for those instructors who are maintaining their certification. Reciprocal CECs for other certifying organizations can be obtained through the Petition system.

HWEPN Hawaii Specialty Aqua Seminar
Leeward YMCA, Waipahu, Oahu

Pauline Ivens will facilitate the AEA Aquatic Fitness Professional Certification Review* on Saturday September 20. On Sunday September 21 there will be a full day of workshops, with special guest presenter Steph Toogood. Workshops will focus on hand buoy solutions, senior water exercise, and a fusion of power and relaxation. Up to 6.0 AEA CECs can be earned.

Registration for the AEA Certification must be done online at the AEA website, www.aeawave.com.

*The AEA Certification requires advance study: 8-12 weeks are recommended. If you want to get ahead with your studying, call AEA at 1-888-232-9283 to order your study manual. Calling to order will enable you to get a special postage rate for sending your book to Hawaii.
